Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering , Visvesvaraya Technological University, India

I am originally from Nalma a village in Lamjung. Although the time I spent in my village was short, I love my birthplace. The memories of going to the jungle for hunting, picking berries and swimming in the river are the most cherished memories of my childhood.

With struggles, pain and hard work, my parents made sure that I was sent to a good school. I have to thank them for providing me with the opportunity. My father used to work overtime and still does so that he can cater to every demand of my family. His hard work and sacrifice have helped me achieve my dreams that is to complete a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and become the first Engineer from my village. Being an average student in my class, my teachers have played an extensive role in mentoring, guiding and motivating me so that I could live my dreams in the future.

The hardships and struggles my parents and teachers went through cannot be explained in words. Their dedication has inspired me to give back to the community as I have seen what it takes to make one educated citizen. With TFN Fellowship, I want to make sure that I do something purposeful in life and build some knowledgeable and skilled human resource for the community. I feel passionate about going back to school and providing students with what I have learned as a student. I would do everything to encourage them towards studies while I relive my childhood days with them during the Fellowship.

Let's stay in touch.
