Nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Sindhupalchowk, our school, established in 2021 BS, stands as a cornerstone of education in Bhotang. With 351 students from ECD to Class 10, we embrace diversity, with 95% of our students from the Tamang community, alongside Lama, Sherpa, and Bishwakarma ethnicities. Students trek for hours, some from villages like Dewrali, showcasing their dedication.

Our committed team of 16 teachers ensures a quality learning experience, supported by resources like a library, science lab, and computer lab. Three concrete buildings, an infirmary, and a canteen cater to student needs, while lunch is provided for ECD to Grade 6 students.

Bhotang, a village rich in culture, practices Buddhism, Hinduism, and partially Christianity. It houses a health post and ward office, offering employment. Many villagers engage in foreign employment, while others thrive in farming, carpentry, animal husbandry, and homestays.

Accessible by three daily buses to Kathmandu, Bhotang serves as a hub for tourists and trekkers heading to Panchpokhari trekking toute. Our school is a vital part of this vibrant community, nurturing young minds and fostering growth in the heart of this captivating region.
