I have come to realize that personal growth and development is a journey that requires an open mind and a willingness to learn. This realization was hard to swallow, but it has been transformational for me. Growing up in a middle-class household in a village called Thankot under Chandragiri, I was a curious and mischievous child. My love for science has been a passion of mine since childhood, and I pursued it until my graduation.
As I continued to explore my interests and passions, I came across Teach For Nepal and its vision to provide quality education to children in need. I was fascinated by the opportunity to connect with wise and like-minded people, learn from new experiences, and contribute to the movement of making the future of children in Nepal safe and better. That is why I decided to apply for the Fellowship.
As a TFN Fellow, I am committed to breaking out of my comfort zone and actively contributing towards the movement of creating a brighter future for children in Nepal. I look forward to learning and experiencing different perspectives of life as a Fellow. I believe that this experience will enable me to become a more compassionate, empathetic and well-rounded person.
My long-term plans are to keep enjoying my life, traveling to different places, and establishing my own company. Most importantly, I aspire to contribute to society or the nation in any way that I can. I believe that the Teach For Nepal Fellowship is the perfect platform to help me achieve these aspirations while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children in Nepal.
