I'm motivated to join the Teach For Nepal Fellowship to work closely with children and lay a solid foundation to help them achieve their aspirations. As a child, I was repulsed by kids younger than me, thinking they were messy and disorganized. But years later, small children at the Sathiko Sath Home played an instrumental role in saving my soul and reminding me to live for the moment.

I had a hard time adjusting to life in Nepal after spending time abroad, but my time with the children showed me that some things are beyond my control and that I must enjoy life as it comes. Now, I'm excited to be amongst children again through the TFN Fellowship. I look forward to reuniting with them, working closely with them, understanding their needs and interests, and being a strong support system for them.

As I read newspapers, I often see there is a shortage of teachers in community schools. I felt that it was not fair for the children enrolled in those schools, so it didn't sit right with me. This Fellowship was a way to reach those children, and that's what encouraged me to apply. I want to be a TFN Fellow because our values and passion align.

I'm truly fascinated by how TFN has been working relentlessly to deliver quality education in public schools for almost a decade and how it has only grown stronger. In the years to come, I hope to work with children and for children to bring a positive impact to their lives by improving their nutrition and education.
