In school, I was not very good at academics as I was more interested in co-curricular activities but I always tried my best to do better with time. My family never pressured me when it came to studies. Even if I did not score well, they would just encourage me to do well next time rather than scold me for not scoring good marks. My passion is the reason I applied for the Fellowship program. I want to help, encourage, and motivate children who do not have the privilege of getting a proper education. I believe every child deserves a chance in life to do something. I have a dream to open a children’s foundation home at some point in life and want to educate them. I want to be a Teach For Nepal Fellow as it would allow me to stay in close contact with the children and community and learn a lot about them. Through Fellowship, I want to bring a leadership quality to my students as well and make them believe in themselves and realize that they are capable of doing anything in life. This is the best place where I can begin my journey of bringing social change.
