During 15 months of teaching experience in Dhanusha district, we realized that the students in public schools are full of talent and skills. Right from generating electricity from onions to the melodious voices, they have it all. However, lack of exposure and opportunity is limiting their growth.

With a view of providing the students a platform where they can blend their classroom and outside learning; foster and unleash their non academic skills , Teach For Nepal Fellows currently working in Dhanusa are organizing "TFN Education Fair 2073" (शैक्षिक मेला) in Janakpur on Kartik 5, 2073 (21st October 2016).

Students from Teach For Nepal's six partner schools will share their learnings and talents. The event will feature 25 stalls for Science, Maths, and English. Additionally, the students will showcase their talents through songs, dance, paintings and drama. The exhibition is expected to be attended by over 2,000 individuals.

By participating in the exhibition students are likely to see increase in their self confidence, boost their motivation towards learning and enhances their communications and people skill.
