Shree Secondary School, Doghare 1

Shree Secondary School, Doghare 2

Established in 1974 A.D., Shree Secondary School Doghare is a government institution situated in Doghare, within Tulsipur Sub Metropolitan City, Dang. The school currently accommodates approximately 400 students ranging from Nursery to grade ten, predominantly hailing from lower economic and marginalized backgrounds.

Many students in attendance balance their studies with labor, engaging in household work or employment at construction sites, stone mining sites, workshops, or furniture-making during holidays to support their education and families. Nearly half of the students belong to the Dalit community, with the remainder coming from Janajati, Brahmin, and Kshetri castes. Most commute from nearby villages, walking distances spanning 20 minutes to an hour.

Despite its close proximity to the Buspark of a developed Sub Metropolitan City in Nepal, the school suffers from dilapidated infrastructure and lacks basic amenities such as toilets for male students. Building trust with parents and students has been a focal point, particularly following a decline in enrollment. Initiatives like home visits during admission campaigns have been pivotal in nurturing community relationships.
