Shree Dhodeni Basic School is located in the heart of Lamjung district of Nepal where people of various races reside including Gurung, Giri, Newar, and Biswakarma. The community is a harmonious place with no sort of racial and gender discrimination. The people are very welcoming and warm-hearted. However, the community has a major issue of the network connection during heavy rainfall, and power cut is most prevalent. One of the most fascinating facts about this school is that there are a greater number of girls than boys studying in the school. The girls are extremely bold, confident and opinionated because they are not confined by the rules of acting like a girl either at their school or at their houses. Located near Upper Marshyangdi hydropower dam, Mahendra Dev School is placed in Talanche Rural Municipality in Bhulbhule 5. It is one and a half hours away from the nearest city named Besisahar. A local jeep and buses are frequently available if you want to reach there. The community comprises 80% of Gurung and Tamang families, about 12% Dalit families, 6% Brahmin and Chettri families and about 2% Newari. Mahendra Dev School, established in 1956 AD, currently has around 268 students from grades 1 to 10. This public school has a good track record when it comes to student's results. Ganga Milan Secondary School, founded in 2030 B.S, facilitates a total of 194 students in the school. The school is located in the village named 'Ghermu' originated as a Ghale King had a kingdom in that particular place. The majority of the population in the community comprises Gurung and Ghale families. Only a few dalit houses are belonging to the Biswokarma caste. The majority of the population follows the Buddhist faith whereas a few families follow Christianity. Most community members rely on farming for their livelihood and a majority of families have a member enrolled in either the British or Indian army. Shree Prem Milan Secondary School is located in Chhappa, Marsyangdi Municipality of Lamjung district of Nepal. The majority of people in the community consist of Gurung, Chhetri and Biswokarma families. The people of the community are very welcoming however, they do not much open up about themselves since they are shy in nature. The community is close to the trekking route to Manang and falls under Annapurna Conservation Area. Shree Prem Milan Secondary School was founded in the year 2011 BS and currently, there are around 200 students studying from grade 1 to grade 10. The school just completed the construction of a new building in 2076 BS and installed facilities like a small playground, science and computer laboratories for the physical and well as academic development of its students. Shree Chaitanyodaya Satya Secondary School, established in 2051 BS, is the only secondary school in Dordi, Lamjung. The Dordi community is a diverse and peaceful community where the community members are actively involved in forming and managing various clubs and societies (eg. Aama Samuha, Youth Clubs.) Although these clubs and societies add value for the development of the community, there still exists a practice of untouchability, and issues concerning gender discrimination are raised sometimes. As a result, some group of people are not serious about their studies and their parents do not seem to be bothered with their children’s progress in school. Located in Dordi, Lapsibot, the school neighbors the Dordi River along with the Chote Khola. The School is looked after by principal Roshan Gurung along with his staff who look after seventy -two students. Students of this school primarily belong to Tamang, Gurung and Dalit ethnicities. The village is surrounded by 3-4 hydropower yet the village is still under the dark, where the electricity facilities hasn't arrived yet. The uniqueness about the school is that the school is run by female teachers. There are around 12 female and 3 male teachers in this school.

The school is located in Hile Taxar, Majhgaun. It is larger than most schools in Dordi in terms of infrastructure, but the number of students in school is comparatively lower which makes management team a gigantic task for its management. Som Prasad Shreshtha, Khumbi Maya Gurung and Krishna Prasad Gurung serve as the school’s Head Teacher, Assistant Head Teacher, and School Management Committee Chairman respectively. In around 45 minutes to an hour-long walk, there is a famous old bazaar named as Tilahr. The settlement is considered as one of the oldest villages. Tilar is considered a hub for tourists, NGOs and INGO's, schools and Banks. It is right above Mid-Marshyangi Hydropower Station.
