Your contribution allows us to work towards improving the quality of education in 32 public schools across 5 districts by placing around 80-100 Teaching Fellows every year who directly impact the lives of 10,000 students through quality education.

We recruit some of the most outstanding Nepali youth who come from diverse academic backgrounds like engineering, medicine, sciences and humanities. We select them based on their leaderhship ability, interest in being part of long-terms social change and their content mastery. They go through 6 weeks of rigorous training and continued support which ensures that they are prepared to set their students on transformative life paths.

Over the last 11 years, our students have become the first in their families to graduate from Bachelor’s degree, achieve prestigious global scholarships and study abroad opportunities, and become entrepreneurs in their communities. They have have broken the glass ceiling by achieving milestones deemed impossible for students from public schools.

With over 400 Fellows who have completed their Fellowship and we are extremely proud of our Alumni who continue to be directly engaged in education, contributing to the movement of quality education and promoting equality at large.

Teach for Nepal runs with the support of about 200 Individual philanthropists, Nepali Banks and Corporates, and Foundations. This kind of unconditional local support has allowed us to remain true to our mission and remain focused in our approaches to drive unparalleled outcomes..
