I believe Teach For Nepal is a powerful platform that fosters networking among young individuals across diverse fields—engineering, medicine, forestry, and education, to name a few. It is dedicated to providing quality education to students who are often deprived of this fundamental right. Everyone deserves access to education, yet many still struggle to attain it. This is the mission that drives Teach For Nepal.
My journey towards this Fellowship began in college when seniors shared insights about Teach For Nepal. Initially, I hesitated to apply while still in my second and third years of bachelor’s studies. However, after graduation, I decided to take a leap of faith and submit my application.
The future can be unpredictable, but I am certain that being selected for this Fellowship will elevate my leadership skills. Teaching plays a vital role in shaping lives, and I aim to rise to the occasion. Throughout my life, I have faced numerous challenges, particularly during the transition from high school to higher education. After completing my +2 in my hometown, I felt lost when choosing my path. My passion for agriculture was clear, yet after two unsuccessful attempts to gain admission, frustration set in.
But rather than allowing that frustration to define me, I redirected my focus. I chose to study forestry, a decision that has brought me immense joy as I discovered my love for nature and wildlife.
Reflecting on my journey, I realize the importance of resilience and adaptability. The challenges we face are not roadblocks but stepping stones toward growth. I encourage others to apply for the Teach For Nepal Fellowship. Embrace this opportunity to inspire change, uplift communities, and build a brighter future. Together, we can make education accessible for all and create lasting impact in our society.
