I was born and raised in Bungamati, Lalitpur. My father serves as a Ward Secretary in the government, while my mother, a trained tailor, runs a successful tailoring shop. Growing up in this environment instilled in me a strong sense of community and dedication.
From a young age, I aspired to become a lawyer. I dreamed of gaining admission to law school, graduating, passing the Bar exam, and eventually becoming an advocate. This dream became a reality, yet throughout my schooling and time in law school, I became increasingly aware of the myriad challenges facing our country. This awareness sparked a persistent thought: "What if I could help address at least one of these issues?"
When I learned about the Teach for Nepal (TFN) fellowship, I saw it as a prime opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Attending TFN's info sessions and events opened my eyes to the profound importance of education and the pressing need to address educational inequality in Nepal. These experiences inspired me and solidified my resolve to contribute to this cause.
As a TFN fellow, I am eager to share my knowledge with children, inspiring them to excel in their studies and become responsible, informed citizens. My goal is to help them understand the transformative power of education and its role in creating a better future for themselves and our nation.
