Born amidst the vibrant energy of Kathmandu, I carry the roots of my family back to the serene village of Sano-Chitrey in Kakani, Nuwakot. Growing up in a household running a humble grocery shop, I learned early on the values of hard work and respect for elders. Yet, a yearning to explore my interests and pursue knowledge always burned within me.
Education has been my guiding light, shaping my analytical thinking and decision-making skills. It is this passion for learning that drives me to become a Teach For Nepal Fellow. I envision this role as both a giver and a receiver, where every challenge presents an opportunity for growth. Inspired by a teacher’s advice to step outside my comfort zone to truly understand myself and others, I see Teach For Nepal as a chance to contribute to quality education while immersing myself in diverse communities.
As a Fellow, I look forward to tackling teaching challenges, celebrating small victories, and making a tangible impact on students' lives. I believe that education goes beyond meeting basic needs; it is about shaping young minds and guiding them through life’s complexities. The opportunity to inspire and empower students is truly fulfilling.
Teach For Nepal’s vision resonates deeply with my aspirations. I am excited about the prospect of experiencing life in various communities, learning from different cultures, and becoming part of their stories. I see this Fellowship not just as a professional opportunity but as a transformative journey that will enhance my understanding of the world and foster my personal growth.
In reflecting on my journey, I have learned to embrace both my struggles and successes. I am committed to staying positive and focused on my goals. Teach For Nepal is the perfect platform for me to harness my potential, share my knowledge, and grow alongside the communities I serve. Together, we can create a brighter future, one student at a time.
