My father is a high school graduate and has served as a former police officer. My mother, who is now a homemaker, had been abroad for more than 7-8 years so that me and my brother could attain a better education. My brother has been the most supportive person for my self-development because he always encourages me to have a better future. He has taught me to be focused on my career and become self-reliant. A good educational background has made me somewhat capable of becoming a mentor for myself for the right purpose. But my moral values have largely helped me to become the person I am today due to which I received several opportunities in life. There were supportive as well as bitter people along this journey but most importantly, I have learned to deal with people in a calm way without losing my patience. My first job was serving as a teacher at Nexus International Academy. In spite of working there for a short span, the love and respect I received from my students was really heartwarming. Teach For Nepal is that step forward towards fulfilling my dream of contributing towards betterment of children.
