Having grown up attending a government school, I’ve always been aware of the deep educational inequalities in our system. TFN’s mission to address this by providing quality education to underserved communities aligns perfectly with my personal goals and passions.

What excites me most about the TFN Fellowship is the opportunity to work directly with students and make a tangible impact on their lives. I believe that every child has untapped potential, and with the right guidance, they can achieve incredible things. I’ve always enjoyed creating fun, educational activities to engage students—be it organizing small competitions or educational games—and I’ve seen how these can help students grow not just academically, but personally as well. TFN offers the chance to take that passion and scale it up, reaching even more children who need support.

One of the most defining experiences in my life was working as a supervisor for the National Population & Housing Census in 2021. Despite facing physical challenges, I embraced the task of leading a team of enumerators, going door to door to collect data. There were many obstacles—people refused to provide information, some even got angry—but I learned how to communicate effectively, often switching from Nepali to Bhojpuri to connect with locals. It taught me patience, resilience, and the importance of teamwork.

Joining Teach For Nepal is more than just a professional step for me—it’s a personal mission. I want to be part of a movement that not only educates students but also shapes them into confident, capable individuals. I believe this Fellowship will help me grow as a leader and empower me to contribute meaningfully to the future of education in Nepal.
