Education: Bachelor of Business Administration, Kathmandu University

Iwas born in a middle-class family and my parents provided me with the best of whatever they could afford and my parents taught me to appreciate what we have. Growing up, I was very competitive. I was always working hard to get high scores in video games and keeping up to date with the latest cartoons and this zeal never transferred towards my education. Despite a keen interest in music, I ended up with a BBA degree. Music is my passion and I looked for opportunities where I could exercise my love for music with my educational background and Teach For Nepal is a wonderful platform for me to implement all these things at once. Honestly, I never wanted to be a teacher when I graduated from high school. But as you start growing up and maturity hits you, you realise the importance of being a teacher. You might see these big shot names on billboards and media channels, and think that they are an inspiration. But really teachers are the biggest influencers when it comes to shaping your adulthood. As a teacher, I would not want my children to just be successful professionally, I want them to grow up as good human beings. Academics are important, but so are good values. And I want to nurture in them all the good values that I have learnt over the years and instil that competitive zeal I have into my students in terms of their academic performance. Learning is fun when you understand it better. I want to see a world where all humans live in a consciously harmonious state, and as a teacher, I believe it is my primary responsibility to mould my students into consciously aware human beings.

Let's stay in touch.
