I love spending my free time exploring the vibrant streets of Bhaktapur, visiting cozy tea stalls, cafés, and enjoying movies and dramas. These simple moments help me unwind and reflect on my journey. Growing up, my family went through a separation during my early childhood, which significantly affected my academics. However, the support I received from the family members who stayed by my side was instrumental in shaping who I am today.

I completed my secondary education in Dehradun, where the familiar cultural setting made my stay enjoyable. Though I was initially a shy and reserved student, I never let that hinder my pursuit of quality education. The exceptional education I received helped me understand the transformative power of learning, especially when many children in Nepal lack access to the same opportunities.

Education inequity in Nepal has always struck a chord with me. I've seen firsthand how disadvantaged students are often left behind, lacking the resources, support, and guidance they need to thrive. This gap in the system is what drives my passion for joining Teach For Nepal. I am committed to helping bridge this divide and ensure that every child, regardless of their background, has access to quality education.

The Fellowship offers me a unique platform to address these issues while contributing to long-term change in rural communities. I see it as more than just a stepping stone—it’s a mission to create equitable learning environments. Personally, I aspire to grow as a leader, and I know that working with public school students will not only challenge me but also help me become a more empathetic and impactful educator. I believe that together, we can build a better future for Nepal’s children.

Let's stay in touch.
