My family has gone through very difficult times that are not easy to express through words. I feel my mother is a hero and has been my inspiration. She provided good education to me and my siblings as she struggled so much and had little help. Before joining this fellowship, I worked for over a year in a departmental store to save money but I was unhappy not doing anything meaningful with my life. I knew I wanted to help people and lead a more fulfilled life.

I am excited to connect people of various backgrounds and ethnic groups with love and mutual respect.

I want children to dream big, and I want to help them realize that education is incredibly important to leading a meaningful and successful life. I know firsthand from my struggles that this is true. I stand here as a fellow, committed to bringing positive change in the lives of these children. I am really excited to take a leap in my life through this fellowship.
