Good education has played a crucial role in shaping the person I am today. Growing up, my family ensured I received a quality education, which is why we moved to Kathmandu from Siddhalek, Dhading. After my SEE, I had everything planned out: my IELTS completed and universities selected for their financial benefits. However, I decided to focus on my studies and chose to pursue engineering in Bangalore instead. That decision to prioritize my education and embrace the challenges of living away from home was a turning point, ultimately playing a major role in shaping my path and bringing me to where I am today. The knowledge and experiences I gained through my education not only boosted my confidence but also helped me develop the ability to speak up when needed. It empowered me to distinguish between right and wrong, even in situations where many might hesitate to do so. The foundation of education has been key in helping me find my voice and build the confidence to stand firm in my beliefs.

I want to be a TFN Fellow because I believe in doing something meaningful that contributes to society. I want to be part of the change and play a role in shaping the future of the children I teach. Education has been a pivotal aspect of my life, and I believe it can be the same for my students. This fellowship will allow me to create an impact in my students’ lives while providing me with opportunities for growth and development.
