I was born in Sankharapur, Kathmandu. I love travelling and dream of travelling the whole world. I also enjoy singing, dancing and research.

Growing up, I have always been good at studies. My family members rewarded me frequently for performing well in the classroom, which motivated me a lot to study even harder.

I had good family members who knew the value of education and were committed to provide me education. Likewise, I also had teachers who motivated me whenever I was struggling with my studies. I struggled during my second year of Bachelor’s but one of my teachers stepped in to help me to move forward. I will always be thankful to him.I am fortunate that I have had many people around me who inspired and motivated me.

I came to know about TFN in the second year of my Bachelor’s. My desire to work for children appeared to align well with the vision. I remembered my family and teachers who motivated me and I decided that I would very much like to become motivators just like them for other kids. Further, the question, “What if your first job was changing the nation?” compelled me even more to join the movement.

I have a long term vision of ending education injustice. During my Fellowship, I will be motivating and explaining to my students and community importance of education. Above all, I will earn a deeper understanding of the situation of public schools, which will help me in my long term goal in education.
