Education: Bachelor’s of Business Administration, College of Applied Business

I spent my childhood in Kalikot, and later in Bardiya as my parents decided to move for better job opportunities. I have seen people struggling for survival. Most of them didn’t have access to good food. Education was not even in their priority list. During my teenage, I again moved to Kathmandu for higher education. Here, I learned to earn and live for myself. This experience made me stronger and more responsible.

Coming to Kathmandu at a very young age, completing high school and undergraduate as a topper was a huge achievement for me. All the credits go to every single teacher who have taught me since my early childhood. This is one of the motivations to apply for the Fellowship, as I have always looked forward to becoming the role model to my students and making my students better learners and achievers.

For the next two years, I see myself living in a rural village educating Nepal’s next generation. The one main reason behind joining Teach For Nepal is to see a transformed society with educated children, where everyone dreams to become the most capable citizens in Nepal. I hope to give my best to turn this hope into reality.

Let's stay in touch.
