SEASON OF GIVING 2025-6

One person. One gift. One student’s future.
SOG25

Teach For Nepal is a movement of leaders committed to ending educational inequity in Nepal by standing with children who have been historically left behind by the system—children growing up in rural, low-income, and marginalized communities where access to quality education is often limited by circumstance rather than potential. For the past 13 years, Teach For Nepal has placed 450 teachers in some of the country’s most under-resourced public schools. Each year, 50–80 Fellows teach in classrooms, reaching 6,000–8,000 students annually—many of whom are first-generation learners, struggling readers, or children on the brink of dropping out. Through consistent teaching, mentorship, and deep community engagement, Fellows help students build foundational skills, confidence, and belief in their own futures. Beyond classrooms, Teach For Nepal contributes to national conversations on public education, equity, and leadership, while nurturing a growing network of alumni who continue to advocate for community-centered change across Nepal.

Season of Giving 2025: What It Is

For more than a decade, the strength of Teach For Nepal’s movement has come from individuals who chose to act—people who believed that where a child is born should never determine how far they can go. Season after season, their generosity has carried this movement forward, one child and one classroom at a time, standing as a powerful moral force behind Fellows working in some of Nepal’s most underserved public schools.

Today, that belief is needed more than ever. When nearly half of Nepal’s children leave school before Grade 10, and thousands more struggle without the foundational skills they deserve, waiting for systems to change is no longer an option. Real, lasting transformation requires collective action—ordinary people stepping forward in extraordinary ways.

Season of Giving is Teach For Nepal’s annual individual-giving campaign—a moment when people across Nepal and around the world come together to invest in children’s futures and affirm that educational justice is everyone’s responsibility.

This year, our focus is simple, powerful, and deeply personal:

One person. One gift. One student’s future.

For every NPR 10,000 donated, you support one student in a Fellow’s classroom for an entire year, helping ensure access to quality teaching, mentorship, and care during the years that matter most. Your contribution—whether large or small—strengthens the presence of Fellows who stand with children facing the deepest learning gaps and help open pathways to opportunity, leadership, and hope. Together, through this Season of Giving, we can change the nation—one child, one classroom, and one act of generosity at a time. This Year’s Goal For Season of Giving : 60,00,000 /-
