Teach For Nepal successfully marked a significant milestone as we celebrated our 10th anniversary of Fellows working with the communities to close the gap in education. The event was held on April 16, 2023, at Rastriya Sabha Griha Exhibition Road, Kathmandu.

The celebration witnessed the successful completion of two years of Fellowship by 33 outstanding Fellows, as well as the initiation of 43 new Fellows into the Fellowship program for the year 2023-24. Our new Fellows will serve in rural public schools, helping to end education inequity.

The event was characterized by the enthusiastic participation of TFN Fellows, Alumni, and students who led a series of science and technology exhibitions. There were also various performances such as songs, dances, and classroom innovations performed by students from different public schools in Dang, Parsa, and Tanahun, highlighting the impact of the Fellowship program.

Over the past 10 years, we have successfully trained and placed 409 Alumni to work in public schools across 7 districts, 98 schools, and 100+ communities. Our Fellows have worked to transform the lives of hundreds of students and touched the lives of thousands of community members through their work.

During the event, we took the opportunity to recognize and honor the continuous support of various organizations, including Surya Nepal Group of Companies, Golchha Groups, and municipalities across Dhanusa, Parsa, Sindhupalchowk and Lalitpur, who have been supporting the movement over the last decade.

The event had a diverse group of attendees, including the leadership council, Teach For Nepal board members, Fellows, their parents, Alumni, students from various schools where the Fellows were placed, and former staff.
